Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan calls Imran Khan and his wife greedy

Former Punjab Information Minister Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan has revealed that the gold vessel gifted to former Prime Minister Imran Khan during the inauguration of the Kartarpur Corridor was actually replaced with a brass vessel and deposited in the Toshakhana, while the original gold vessel was kept by Imran Khan.

In an interview, Chohan stated that the Sikh community presented Imran Khan with a gold vessel in 2019 during the Kartarpur Corridor opening. However, the vessel was later exchanged for a brass one in Rawalpindi’s jewellery market. The brass vessel was then gold-plated and submitted to the Toshakhana, whereas the original gold vessel remained with Imran Khan.

Chohan went on to call Imran Khan and his wife greedy and “loot thieves,” alleging that a dinner set received from Malaysia was also sold in Rawalpindi’s Raja Bazaar. He accused the former prime minister of acting against Pakistan’s dignity, honour, and security.

It is worth noting that Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan was appointed as Imran Khan’s media advisor in 2022.
